Our Factories

We've found the best factories to join us on this mission to take on fast fashion

The Unfolded model for making clothes is totally different to the mode for traditional brands - where most brands will produce months in advance our zero-waste model means we only produce as orders come in - this means we've had to find amazing factories that are willing to work in a different way.

Our Factory Partners

We currently work with three amazing factories based just outside Delhi in India.

They've been selected for the quality of their work and the work they are doing to improve the fashion industry - both for the planet and for their workers.

Our factory partners have also been selected based on their willingness to utilise our zero waste approach to production and challenge the traditional model of garment production.

We don't name our factories to ensure they don't face retaliation from other brands due to the messaging and work of Unfolded. Sadly the fashion industry isn't very nice like that....

Responsible Production

We value the amazing people who make our clothes as much as our customers, maintaining close partnerships to ensure workers are treated well.

Our factories are members of Sedex, a platform promoting ethical, socially sustainable production and positive labour conditions through regular audits.

We only partner with factories that pay fair wages and provide bonuses to all workers after each collection, ensuring fairness and harmony across the team.

To ensure compliance we regularly visit factories and audit them.

Better for the planet + The People Who Make Our Clothes

Sustainable production methods

Our partner factories are Oeko-Tex approved and certified for GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard for organic cottons), GRS (Global Recycle Standard for recycled polys), and OCS (Organic Content Standard for fabric blends with organic cotton).

Oeko-Tex ensures fabrics are free from harmful chemicals, while organic certifications guarantee sustainable production methods.

All cutting waste is recycled into rugs and cords—nothing goes to landfill.

Logistics - Factory to Consumer

We work closely with our factory partners and logistics experts to create a factory-to-consumer model where clothes are only made after you order and then shipped directly to you.

This ensures we don't create emissions making, or moving products, that won't be worn and loved.

Orders (apart from archive products) are packed and shipped from near our factories in India.

It takes a bit longer to receive your order, but the benefits for you, the planet, and our workers make it worth the wait. This process ensures we avoid the 30% of unsold products typical in traditional fashion.

Our Commitment To Our Workers, The Planet And You

What's best for everyone...

When we make a decision we'll always make sure it's best for the planet, our workers and you.

The Right Way

We'll always make decisions that focus on doing things the right way - not just the way that makes the most money.

Challenge The Norm

We're building an entirely new way to make clothes - meaning we need to challenge the process at every step of the way to make a model that works for everyone.

Be As Open As Possible

We'll share as much as we possibly can and as often as we can with you - we want to be transparent and ensure you understand how we can change the world together.
