Part 1 - Our most common questions answered!

With 50,000+ happy shoppers we've answered these questions a lot!

Can I still return something if it doesn’t fit? Even if it’s made to order?

Yup - you have 14 days once your order arrives to send it back to us for a refund! We also offer a free swap platform if the issue is sizing or you fancy something else from a collection instead.

Does it not take months for something to be made and delivered?

Nope but it does depend on the product that you order. When you’re ordering you’ll see the date that the item will ship from our factories in India. For example anything you order before the 10th of December will be here for Christmas.

What is your sizing like?

Our sizing is similar to H+M - we selected this after surveying customers to find the most popular size comparison. We also have an in depth size guide on every product above the size options which gives measurements and you can message us if you want more specific help.

Is shopping this way ACTUALLY better for the enviroment?

It’s soooo much better! 30% of new clothes at big brands aren’t sold, that will be 26 billion items of clothing this year - making these clothes will create 1.5% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions. So think about the impact if all these brands moved to our zero waste model?

You claim to be sustainable, affordable and offer great quality - how is this even possible?

It’s simple - we’ve removed the waste from the process! By designing with our customers and then making our clothes to order we don’t just help the planet we save a lot of money, this allows us to offer sustainable clothes at great prices and also give you great quality. Our clothes are generally 30-40% cheaper than they would be with a traditional brand!

Part 2 - Our most common questions answered!

I'm short/tall - your clothes won't fit me, will they?

As our clothes are designed in collaboration with thousands of our existing shoppers (The Unfolders) we make sure they’ll work for a range of shapes, heights and sizes. We now offer multiple lengths for most of our dresses and trousers

What is the quality like? Who should I compare you to?

Our clothes are made in the same factories as high end/premium High Street, think named brands but not designer! But better for the planet, your pocket and for the people who make our clohtes...

How is Unfolded better for garment workers than fast fashion?

We pay factories fairly for their work and then run the Unfolded Workers Fund which pays bonuses to garment workers across the factory, even if they didn’t work on our clothes. This amount varies from collection to collection but can be up to 25% extra.

Will your clothes last longer than fast fashion?

Yes - the average fast fashion item only lasts 3-4 wears according to research. Our clothes are designed and made to last for years and years!

Is this just greenwashing? Are you just an evil fast fashion company pretending to be better?

We’re defo not an evil fast fashion company pretending - we’re a team that have spent the best part of a decade trying to fix the fashion industry and ultimately realised the only way to do it would be to take on the current brands. We share how badly they’re damaging our planet on social media - make sure you check it out!
