Styling your Clothes from This is Unfolded

You spoke, we listened!

Listening to suggestions, feedback and ideas from our customers is one of the things that makes us at This is Unfolded most excited. Our community of customers in our Creator Group on Facebook is a great source of inspiration! We asked the group what you want more of on our blog, and lots of you mentioned more styling suggestions and advice. So we thought we could start that right away.

Today is the last day to purchase from Collection 03 - we're taking last orders at midnight on Sunday the 21st and that's the end of this incredible collection. For every order placed this weekend, we are adding an extra month of support for a child in education via our NGO partner Pratham,. If you've had your eyes on anything from this collection, get it before orders close - and if you've already bought yours, we can't wait to see how you wear yours!

While we wait for our orders to be delivered in a couple of weeks, we'd love to share a few ways to style our favourites from the soon-to-be-gone collection!

Versatility and wearability

When we design our items, we have a lot of things to consider, but versatility is definitely at the top of our priorities. Items that can be worn in all sorts of occasions are more sustainable and overall... they make us happier!

First, let's look at some suggestions for one of our favourite dresses in Collection 03, the burgundy midi-dress Khadiza.

Mum of 4 @Lefranks collaborated with us to style the Khadiza for a beautiful autumn day. Pairing the button-down dress with tights, ankle boots and a turtle neck top underneath makes it perfect for winter - and the Khadiza is so easy to style thanks to the rich, lovely burgundy colour that is spot on for this season.

You can also wear it with knee-high boots, and a white, chunky knit or a longline cardigan.

The versatile black pinafore

The Khadiza is not the only dress you can style in a multitude of ways - we love how many looks you can get from the Sandie, our corduroy pinafore that has proved to be quite the hit with our customers this collection!

We gathered a few of our customers at a photoshoot a few weeks ago, and we have some great examples of how the Sandie can be worn. Sandie, who is the namesake that we named this pinafore dress after, wore it with the Charlotte peasant blouse on sale in Collection 01. She paired it with maroon tights, black boots and a happy-go-lucky attitude - we think it looks great!

Another look we love is what Becky wore at our shoot. (She is the namesake of our Becky dress, a gorgeous navy blue dress with a super flattering cut.) Just wear a turtle neck under the Sandie - you choose your favourite colour! - and the perfect, casual but put-together everyday look is sorted.

Last but not least, our own Anisha opted to wear the Sandie with a big-collared shirt with a difference, a pair of black boots, and there you have it - the Sandie styled up for more formal occasions or a great night out.

 Top of the tops

As we wait for our parcels to arrive (the hype!), let’s talk tops. Our Louise is perfect for all year round layering, but not only that!

Make that green pop under a sparkly cardigan for the perfect Christmas and New year look, or just use it for extra cosiness under your favourite jersey or jumper like Michelle @Maison_abbott did.

Our  Romana blouse has the same fabric as the Natalie dress - they've both gone down really well with customers who are looking for a charming, wearable print. The Romana blouse is lively but classy, with a blue base and multicolour spots. It's easy to dress up and down for an effortless "jeans and nice top" look, and you can wear it all year around with a jacket, like Rosa @Rosasofia.style did, or paired with white jeans for a different look on Anisha!

Endless possibilities!

We love to see how many different ways to wear this collection. Today is the last day it is on sale, so if you're feeling inspired, now is the time to go buy them! We've shown you a a small sample of some of our favourites, and hope to share a lot more in the coming weeks!
